Three Coffee Spots Off Your Radar: Capitol Hill, Seattle WA

Start your work week off at one of these local, Seattle favorites for a coffee and a pastry!

Tuck into a book at Little Oddfellows

Oddfellows 1

Little Oddfellows enjoys a controlled buzz with its busy espresso machine and friendly chatter, nestled in the back corner of Elliott Bay Book Company.  Tuck into your latest cookbook purchase in the cozy, worn wood and white walled space, complete with that unique bookstore smell.  Stay for a Quinoa Salad Bowl and House Scratch Soda (beet/ginger, anyone?!), aptly named Little Oddfellows after it’s older sister Oddfellows Café & Bar next door.

Coffee without the wait at Fuel Coffee:

fuel

Fuel Coffee is friendly and efficient.  Gawd love ‘em!  No need to allot 22 minutes for a “quick” coffee, while the hip barista chats idly with customers.  Fuel is pulling shots with the speed of an Italian coffee bar.   If you have some time to sit, enjoy your caffeine with a view of tree lined and pleasantly quaint 19th Avenue East.

Nerd out with your laptop out at Ada’s:

Adas

Ada’s is a technical bookstore, stocked with a swath of analytical reference literature to satisfy your nerdiest inquiry.   The café serves up a mean homemade chocolate chip cookie and compliments their Double & Bubbles (double shot of espresso + soda water) with a house candied orange slice.  Bring your study materials and enjoy the quiet.

These coffee shops are the perfect, weekly pick-me-up locations to get your cup of joe for the week!

Leave me a comment below of your favorite Seattle coffee shop! Cheers to a new week and delicious coffee.
